Roadrunner email service provides you connectivity to your family, friends, and your contact. Roadrunner works perfectly fine on any device it doesn't matter whether you are an iPhone user or android. Roadrunner is most used by three devices, iPhone, Android, and Windows computers. Roadrunner provides an automatic setting for defaulters. But because of any reason, its setting changes, and it starts misbehaving in different ways. We will discuss how to change Roadrunner email settings on two different platforms, WINDOWS 10 and iPhone. 


Roadrunner email settings windows 10 include POP Settings and IMAP Settings. If the POP setting is working fine then definitely issue is in IMAP and visa versa. We are providing steps for both IMAP and POP. If you follow the steps we have mentioned below you should be able to set up your Roadrunner email settings. 

  • Go to the Window Live Mail.
  • Select the Accounts tab. 
  • Click email, and now your email account setup procedure is started.
  • Type your id and password.
  • Open server type 
  • Select POP and IMAP. 

Now you have to check the setting of POP and IMAP separately 

POP set upsetting

  •  Account Type: POP or POP3
  • Incoming Mail Server:
  • Incoming Server –POP3 port: 110.
  • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
  • Outgoing Server –SMTP port: 587
  • Inbound Outbound User Name: Enter email ID. if you are new create one. 
  • example@[division]
  • Inbound Outbound Password: Email your Password. if you are new create one.
  • SMTP Server Requires Authentication: Checked

IMAP Settings:

  •  Account Type: IMAP
  • Incoming Mail Server:
  • Incoming Server –IMAP port: 143
  • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
  • Outgoing Server –SMTP port: 587
  • Inbound Outbound User Name: Enter email ID
  •  example@[division] 
  • Enter Email Password (same as Webmail) SMTP Server Requires Authentication: Checked

iPhone users don't have to check both POP and IMAP separately. Roadrunner email setting iPhone is very simple and secure. 

  • Click on ‘Settings’ on the iPhone or iPad.
  • Next, Select mail. 
  • Select contacts, and calendars.
  • If you are already a Roadrunner user, then select your existing RR email address.
  • create a new one if you were not part of it before.
  • Select ‘Add account’.
  • Tap on ‘Other’
  • select ‘Add mail account’ 
  • fill in the required information like name, address, password, etc.
  • Click on ‘Next’.
  • Select ‘POP’.
  • Fill incoming and outgoing mail servers. 
  • Incoming mails server host:
  • Username: enter your username with the additional extension ‘’
  • Password: enter your password unique but easy so that you don't forget
  • Server port: 110, only if required.
  • Off the Secure server.
  • on Outgoing mail server host.
  • Now enter your username with the extension ‘’.
  • Enter your password.
  • Enter port 587 only if required. 
  • Set a secure server to off.
  • Select ‘Save’.
