The 2023 Lamborghini Urus is likely to offer a plug-in hybrid powertrain when it's redesigned for the 2023 model year.
The current Urus, launched for the 2020 model year, features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8. It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The engine makes 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, 50 hp and 37 lb-ft more than the previous model.
It has been said that Lamborghini 2024 will introduce an electrified version of the super SUV, possibly with the same powertrain as the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, which combines a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 with electric motors to produce 680 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to the powertrain changes, we also expect Lamborghini to update the Urus' styling inside and out to keep it fresh in its second generation.
