China’s Davinci Tech has unveiled its new battery electric motorcycle, the DC100, which it bills as a “futuristic café racer” boasting a 350 kilometer range that can also self-balance and follow you around.
In spite of the Davinci DC100’s many features, some specifics remain missing. To get more news about buy electric motorcycle, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.
The DC100 can accelerate from 0–100km/h in 3 seconds and delivers peak torque of 627ft-lb, or 850Nm, with a top speed of 200km/h and a peak power of 135 horses, or 100.75kW.
According to Davinci Tech, the battery range is 400.75 kilometers based on NEDC measurements, and 357.51 kilometers based on WLTP measurements.
Charge the DC100 using a fast charger, which can deliver a full charge within 30 minutes, or use a home outlet using a portable charger.
While the company’s website says the bike’s smart control system “integrates several different motors seamlessly,” a separate press release says the bike has 137 horsepower at its peak.
ADC100 motorcycles have a single brake lever linked to a braking system that integrates ABS, CBS, and TCS, unlike older bikes that require coordinating clutch, gears, front, and rear brakes.
Additionally, the DC100 features Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), which applies high torque at a low speed when the brake lever is released to ensure a smooth takeoff. In addition, the DC100 adjusts its speed to optimize balance and energy recovery while riding downhill.
On the flats, the DC100 has an added benefit: it moves forward slowly at 7km/h when you release the brake, allowing for a smooth start, and moves backwards slowly with high torque to make reversing easier.
In addition, the bike’s performance is fully accessed via a companion smartphone app, as is the case with many smart electric vehicles nowadays.
The DC100 has drawn the most attention because of its “robotic” capabilities. Furthermore, the DC100 offers HAC, Reverse Assist, Downhill Assist, a combined braking system, and enhanced traction control, as well as kinetic energy recovery and a battery management system that continuously monitors the battery pack’s safety.
As well as the ability to receive firmware updates over-the-air, the DC100 will also have the ability to access open-source software, which is excellent news, considering Davinci Tech’s upcoming features, which will include self-balancing capabilities and remote control. In addition, the bike is capable of self-balancing, using EPS (electronic power steering) and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to balance itself on two wheels.
As a result of the EPS and a sensing module, the bike will be able to follow targets automatically thanks to its self-balancing ability and remote control capability. You can think of your motorcycle as a jogging partner, as Davinci Tech writes.
