Mahesh Shrinivas Bhupathi is a retired Indian Tennis Player that had been among the very sturdy doubles players at the history of tennis. He achieved success in the two men's doubles and mixed doubles.

Mahesh Bhupathi is a retired Indian Tennis Player who had been among the very sturdy doubles players in the history of tennis. He achieved success in both men's doubles and mixed doubles. Back in 1999, Mahesh forged an extraordinary venture in combination with Leander Paes, they won multiple Grand Slams collectively, including the Wimbledon Championship. Mahesh became a part of the elite category of eight tennis players who achieved a career Grand Slam in mixed doubles following his triumph at the Australian Open mixed doubles in 2006. Mahesh is also the creator of International Premier Tennis League and became the non-playing leader of Indian Davis Cup team in December 2016.


Mahesh began playing tennis at a really young age. He was invited a lot by his dad, who also coached him . He had a deep two-year livelihood in the University of Mississippi, made doubles and singles All-America honours at the year of 1995, and he started his professional Tennis profession on that year. In both 1994-95, Mahesh became India's National Champion. The identical year, he was also chosen for the Indian Davis Cup team from 1995 to 2011. Mahesh became the first Indian tennis player who won the Grand Slam title when he took the mixed doubles French Open crown combined with Japan's Rika Hiraki in 1997.


Mahesh began a huge doubles venture with Leander Paes at 1994. The duo recorded 6 ATP doubles titles every year from 1997 and 1998out of the eight championship finals they reached during both years. Again they teamed-up for Grand Slam event in 1999, and again performed superb and won the French Open and Wimbledon but sadly they lost in U.S. and Australian Open. The duo ascends to No.1 at ATP doubles rank that year. Following 1999, Mahesh and Leander had some personal issues which shortly caused the dissolution of the partnership. In 2001, the duo again played in French Open, and they won for the second time at this event.


Each year of 2002-04, Mahesh won five championships names in ATP tour, and won the U.S. Open Championship with Belarus's Max Mirnyi in 2002. His profession in mixed doubles Grand Slam was more successful, where he won 5 mixed doubles names in Roku error code 003 005 Grand Slam in between 1999-2006 with five different team mates including Mary Pierce, Martina Hingis, and Daniela Hantuchová. Throughout this period, Mahesh won three other Gland Slam Championships, including 1997 French Open title. In 2016, Mahesh retired from his tennis profession , the exact same season he selected for Indian Davis Cup team as non-playing captain.
